Slate Hill Lavender Farm is open to the public for a variety of special events throughout the year including U-Pick Lavender Days, Photography Sessions, Fridays on the Farm, Twilight Tuesdays, Family Farm Day and more. U-Pick Lavender Days

Our farm is Open for U Pick - Tuesday - Sunday 10-5pm; closed Mondays.

We enjoy seeing visitors to Slate Hill Lavender Farm appreciate the lavender along with our spectacular view and beautiful farm. Mid June, we welcome visitors for U Pick Lavender Days through mid July. Opening day is dependent on the weather and when the bloom begins. Follow us on FB or Instagram for our Bloom Update beginning early June. While here to pick lavender, take time to walk the farm, relax in the field, shop our lavender barn for our small batch lavender products from Slate Hill Lavender Farm.

Cost to cut: $10 per bunch of fresh lavender for visitors to take home with them. *Scissors and baskets are provided.

  • Twilight Tuesdays

    Join us for Golden Hour on at Slate Hill Lavender Farm with our Twilight Tuesdays while the lavender is in bloom. This event is limited in number to allow you a private time to experience the lavender as it is in season and to offer you a chance to relax as the sun sets, cut some lavender, walk the paths on the farm and savor a boxed charcuterie picnic crafted by Brimstone Bakery. Make it a date night or bring friends. Ticket includes: boxed charcuterie for 1; local cheeses and meats, demi baguette, fruits, lavender dessert, water, and one bunch of lavender. $35

  • Fridays on the Farm

    Kick off your weekend while the lavender is in bloom with an evening at Slate Hill Lavender Farm. Experience the farm on Friday evenings during Golden Hour when the sun sets on our beautiful valley. This event is limited in number to allow you a private time to experience the lavender as it is in season, cut lavender, take in the view and savor a boxed dinner from Brimstone Bakery. Boxed dinner menu: Grilled Mediterranean Chicken with Hummus and Summer Salad with a side Quinoa Salad with Black Currants & Almonds, Fresh Fruit, Water, and Brownie. Ticket includes boxed dinner for 1, and one bunch of lavender. $40

  • Summer Sound Bath at Slate Hill Lavender Farm

    Relax in a lavender field at Slate Hill Lavender Farm while experiencing a Sound Bath, an ancient technique that uses sound frequency to help calm and reset the nervous system as a way to improve mental, emotional, and physical well-being. Christine will be offering this beautiful experience here in our Lavender fields where she uses a combination of instruments and chimes combining these elements with the natural sounds of nature and the fragrance of the lavender to provide an experience that will relax and recharge your mind and body. **We have blankets, but feel free to bring any items that would make you comfortable (blankets, yoga mats, pillows, etc) during this hour long experience. Ticket includes lavender cutting, a lavender lemonade and a lavender dessert. $35

  • Weave & Wobble Basketmaking at Slate Hill Lavender Farm

    Join Colleen of Weave and Wobble for Basketmaking at Slate Hill Lavender Farm! Class includes weaving instruction, supplies, a lavender snack, and a bunch of lavender. You are welcome to bring a lunch, walk the farm and cut lavender during your time at Slate Hill Lavender Farm so allow enough time for making your basket and visiting the farm.

  • Watercolor on the Farm at Slate Hill Lavender Farm

    Join Kayla for a water color class at Slate Hill Lavender Farm where you will learn about the basics of watercolor. The class includes all art materials for use during the session along with step-by-step instructions from watercolor artist Kayla Jolin. Perfect for beginners, but suitable for all skill levels. Bring a date, come alone, or invite your best friends and tap into your creative side! Leave class with a new skill and your very own piece of artwork. $45 6-8pm$40

  • Lavender Wreathmaking at Slate Hill Lavender Farm

    Join Maria for making lavender wreaths at Slate Hill Lavender Farm. The class includes time to cut lavender in the field all materials for creating a beautiful lavender wreath. Allow enough time for cutting lavender, making your wreath and visiting the farm. Wreaths sizes vary dependent on lavender selection and spacing on a 8" wire base. Bring a date, come alone, or invite your best friends and tap into your creative side! Leave class with a beautiful wreath you have crafted yourself. $65 5-7:30 pm

Private Photography Sessions

Slate Hill Lavender Farm offers a beautiful setting for capturing those special moments. The view, natural light, and of course our lavender help to provide a backdrop for engagement, family photos, senior portraits and more.

Fee is $50 for a one hour session and/or per party * minimum 30 minute session. Please note that we can only guarantee a private session during times when U Pick is not open. *We do not provide a photographer, but can provide a list of local professionals upon request.
